Swire Properties Placemaking Academy

This programm once again put the next generation of HK youth in the spotlight, as they work together during a 6-month apprenticeship to make the White Christmas Street Fair a greener, smarter and more engaging event for the greater Hong Kong community.

This year, 12 students from CUHK, HKUST and PolyU were offered a 6-month apprenticeship. Together with nine student alumni from CityU and HKUST, these 21 students designed, organized and executed the White Christmas Express initiative.

In addition, students also took part in:

• Masterclasses: Totaling more than 100 hours; lectures by industry experts and our department heads, from a variety of backgrounds such as architecture, urban planning, design and communications.

• Mentorship Sessions: Students were mentored by our senior management, event-planning experts, and thought leaders from the design and community-planning industries.

• Buddy Scheme: Students were matched with our management trainees to get a fuller understanding of our corporate culture.

The 2020 programme has been included in CUHK, HKUST and PolyU's curriculum, with course units.

Swire Restaurant

Introduction of Swire Restaurant
Swire restaurants span the reaches of international cuisines, while remaining uniquely steeped in Hong Kong’s blend of cultures. Whether it’s a humble bistro in the heart of town, a continental grand café with a contemporary touch, or a three-storey neighbourhood hangout, every one of our venues offers a new experience.

We see our restaurants as gathering spots for Hong Kong’s many personalities: on-the-go business folk seeking quick, nutritious meals; lunching ladies setting up all-day alfresco roots; evening gourmands looking for a modest affair; or late-night libertines pairing fine cocktails with light bites. They all come together, under the Swire Restaurants family.
